Chalet Rostaing is a Luxury French Chalet set in La Villette de Vaujany, the largest of Ski Peaks’ three chalets in this location. Available for Saturday to Saturday stays, it offers a refined base for luxury ski holiday in one of the quieter corners of the French Alps. Originally an alpine farmhouse, the building has been carefully restored, retaining exposed stone, original beams, and the sense of permanence that defines older mountain homes. 

The chalet is arranged across four floors, allowing space to be shared comfortably during group ski holidays and luxury family ski holidays. Two linked lounge rooms and well-distributed bedrooms provide flexibility for different ages and routines, while the generous dining area, set within the former milk parlour, anchors the chalet as a place to gather at the start and end of each ski day. 

Outdoor space is an important part of the experience. The extended lounge balcony opens onto a terrace with open views across the valley, offering a natural place to pause after a day of French Alps skiing. The setting is calm and residential, yet remains closely connected to the wider Alpe d’Huez ski area, making it well suited to guests seeking a quieter stay within a major ski domain.

Staying in La Villette places you just minutes from Vaujany’s modern lifts, ski school meeting points, and services, while retaining the atmosphere of a historic alpine hamlet. Skiers can return to within approximately 200 metres of the chalet at the end of the day.
