Giving up is not an option!

In short: How many times can you climb up to Alpe d’Huez in one day?! A Dutch charity event raising money for cancer research.

The tenth installment of the event will take place in a few days on the 4th of June and has now raised over 7 million Euros!

Around 4700 participants will be going up and down the legendary Alpe d'Huez bends together - biking, climbing or running somewhere on foot. Under the motto "Giving up is not an option" - what an inspirational moto!

Participants raise as much money for research, with the aim that no one dies from cancer. In total the event has raised more than 118 million euros which has helped fund research to enable cancer patients to have a better quality of life.

Chairman Johan van der Waal: "Every year I am again surprised by the good initiatives of participants, volunteers and sponsors to raise money.  This really is an event to keep an eye on and be a part of - so many good vibes!
