With a combination of a great ski school, fantastic private tuition and superb mountain guides, together with, the vast ski area of Alpe d'Huez, there is enough to satisfy any person for the week with varied slopes for all levels.

You’ll be surprised by the range of lesson options available. Vaujany is blessed with its very own branch of the ESF – l’Ecole du Ski Français (French Ski School) teaching all levels and ages out of Vaujany for more than 25 years. There is a drop-off and pick-up on the slopes facility for parents with lessons for all levels in the fantastic Montfrais (the domain is a green and blue piste paradise, perfect for learning, perfect landscape and perfectly uncrowded)
Prefer independent instructors? Whether skiing or snowboard instructors, we can recommend a good selection to choose from.
This is something totally different. As yet, very few skiers have discovered the gem that is Vaujany’s amazing back country terrain. Those of us that have experienced it know it is something special.
'Backcountry playground Yeh!'
Vaujany is very close to La Grave – Europe and perhaps the world’s most famous off-piste ski area. Yet often we meet La Grave guides skiing in Vaujany. Why? Because off-piste conditions are often better than on the notoriously fickle La Grave slopes.
It couldn’t be more convenient; it is quick and easy, plus as a Ski Peak guest you have great discounted prices with Ride4Life and Atou Sport, our hire partners.
As your transfer bus approaches resort we call ahead so the shops are prepared. You’ll be escorted to the one nearest your accommodation, meaning virtually no waiting in line. Thanks to our early transfers there is plenty of time to get everyone kitted out on arrivals day.
All ski hire shops in Vaujany have experienced, English speaking staff and an excellent range of both boards and skis.
Order and pay for your Vaujany/Alpe d’Huez lift pass before departure from the UK and we will have it ready for you so not one minute of skiing is lost. This means:
- No hassle to obtain your lift-passes; no standing in lines on your first day.
- Your lift-passes will be delivered to you at your accommodation!
- Our eigth season of hands-free passes – shorter queues, warmer hands.
Payment must be received at least two weeks before your arrival date. Please note the lift company will not allow us to order lift-passes on your arrival in resort.
Whether it’s to thaw out and refuel when it’s snowing a blizzard outside, or to dine al fresco on a sun-drenched terrace whilst lapping up the admirable mountain views, there’s no shortage of reliable Vaujany mountain restaurants with more charm and charisma than those in many purpose built resorts.
