Ski lessons for all ages and all abilities

There are two great reasons why ski and snowboard lessons for all ages and abilities, on and off piste, are so good in Vaujany.

First

You’ll be surprised by the range of lesson options available. Vaujany is blessed with its very own branch of the ESF – l’Ecole du Ski Français (French Ski School) teaching all levels and ages out of Vaujany for more than 20 years. Prefer independent instructors? We can recommend a good selection to choose from. Both the great VO Coaching with Barbara and Monica and the excellent independent instructor Christelle Morgillo have long successful relationships with regular Ski Peak guests. All instructors can teach in good English and have years of experience working in Vaujany. For the experienced off-piste skier or the aspiring to be experienced off-piste skier we can also arrange unbelievable days out with some of the great mountain guides we know and work with – Denys Allioud, Anthony Franklin and Stephane Garezynski.

Second

Vaujany is perched so nicely in the corner of such a large resort we not only have a massive area for the more experienced skier to explore, both for lessons and off-piste days out with guides, but we have what we call ‘our part of the mountain’ – the fantastic Montfrais domain – a blue and red piste paradise, perfect for learning, perfect landscape, perfectly uncrowded. It is here that the Vaujany ESF bases itself. This is the home of the childrens’ ski school with its jardin de neige, nursery slopes, restaurant for the kids’ lunch and easy access via the Montfrais bubble – ten minutes out of the main lift station in the village. Beginners and children will learn to ski on often virtually empty pistes, close to plenty of hot-chocolate stops and with very easy access to meet parents or friends when the lessons are over.

Since 1989 Vaujany’s small school of about 20 instructors has established a firm reputation for quality teaching and satisfied clients. Apart from an excellent kids’ school, on offer are individual or group lessons on skis or board from beginner to advanced. All instructors speak English.
