Chalet Saskia – the most luxurious Vaujany chalet
Vaujany Chalet Saskia has consistently been the most popular choice amongst our guests since it was built by Ski Peak in 2000. Thanks to the combination of its picture-postcard location on the south facing, sundrenched slopes of Vaujany and its smart and stylish interior, it has become the flagship chalet of Ski Peak and probably the best Vaujany accommodation available. Your chalet hosts will be pleased to pamper you with a feast at the start of the day before you venture out for a fun-packed day. Then relax in the evening on the terrace with a beer soaking up the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains before an enjoyable three course dinner served at 8pm on 5 days a week.
The unique mirror-image design of the chalet allows it to be used as a whole, taking advantage of all ten fully en-suite bedrooms. Alternatively, the chalet can be divided for smaller groups into two identical and separate halves, each with their own lounge and dining areas, or booked on a room by room basis. As Alpine chalet rentals go, this is the top.

- Enjoy your day out walking by mountain streams, rafting in the Veneon, playing at Adventure Parc or tackling one of the via-ferrata and then return to your Vaujany Chalet Saskia Oasis to enjoy a peaceful moment on the terrace watching the La Fare waterfall tumbling down the rock-face on the other side of the valley.
- Relax back in the chalet with homemade afternoon tea, enjoying the sunshine and views from the terrace.

Allemont pasta - up to Vaujany lift offer*
We have once again negotiated a great deal for our cycle enthusiasts. After a long day in the saddle, simply make it back to the Hotel Douce Montagne in Allemont (just before the Vaujany climb) and you’ll be greeted by a fresh and filling pasta meal (late lunch). Even better, we’ll send a member of staff with a van to pick you up and take you back to Vaujany chalet Saskia, saving those legs for the next day!
- Cycle off down the hill in the morning, 10 minutes to the Hydro Electric plant at Le Verney. Choose between the many amazing climbs: The Col de Glandon, Col de Croix de Fer, Alpe d’Huez, La Berarde, Lautaret and Galibier etc.
- Return in the afternoon to The Douce Montagne, Allemont, for your ‘pasta’ meal before collection by our rep and the minibus shuttle service back to Vaujany Chalet Saskia.
