Hotel Rissiou

The Hotel Rissiou with its two ‘chimneys’ rating in the well-known French accommodation bible, 'Logis de France', has lead many a returning guest to ponder the conversion rate between French chimneys and British stars. As you dine in its Alpine-style restaurant with photos of the building as the centre of village life in the 19th century adorning the walls, you too may reflect upon whether the chimney awarders actually spent the night. For arguably the somewhat rustic and well-loved surroundings are more than made up for by the outstanding food, the welcome you’ll receive and the five-star service that accompanies it.
The Rissiou is all about feeling you are in the French Alps. Staffed and managed by Ski Peak, it has become a firm favourite with many guests who return year after year to enjoy its inviting and nostalgic ambience.
