Chalet Jean-Luc is all about space – the beautiful mountainous space that surrounds the chalet, the spacious lounge with double French windows that allow you to admire it and the feeling that you really have found your own space in this unspoilt corner of the French Alps.
A large standalone wooden and stone chalet in the heart of La Villette, Jean-Luc witnesses the passing of sedate village life combined with the almost magical transformation the village undergoes as soon as all that wonderful snow falls. The locals, many of whom have never known anything except a farming life, chat and gesticulate on the nearby paths, while your La Villette Rep clears the snow and gets ready to take you skiing for the day on some of the best ski slopes anywhere!

Fully catered by a live-out chalet chef and host, an atmosphere of relaxed informality coupled with first class service greets you on your arrival. Throughout your stay they will endeavour to make you want for nothing, providing generous breakfasts, homemade afternoon tea and exquisite candle-lit dinners. They are also on hand to offer advice on skiing, village activities, organising lifts whenever you require and help you just relax.

• After tearing yourself away from the sundrenched mountain views that greet you in bed each morning, stumble down to a hearty breakfast of freshly baked pastries and baguettes, coffee, cereal and eggs.
• As the Rep in your private shuttle pulls up outside the chalet, grab your skis and warm boots from the cellar and ride the 3 minutes down to Vaujany and the main lift- you’ll be kept up to date on the very best runs for the day on the way!
• Leave the kids in the experienced and capable hands of their instructor, and you’re free to enjoy the best of 250kms of pistes with their ample scattering of mountain restaurants in the company of your Ski Peak ski leaders.
• Chose to ski back to La Villette or down to Vaujany and be shuttled back home to freshly baked cake or biscuits every afternoon.
• If your kids have built enough snowmen in the private yard in front of the chalet, why not get driven to the excellent gym and pool down in Vaujany?
• Early evening – it’s time to kick back with a drink in the spacious lounge in front of a real wood fire. Your chalet hosts will serve dinner for the children.
• Then it’s your turn. The 4 or 5 course dinner is a delight for the senses – sight, smell and taste matched beautifully with French wines served at a large wooden table with plenty on elbow room. Spacious luxury!
