  • Snow Conditions

    Vaujany/Alpe d’Huez (3300m to 1100m) are currently blessed with some of the best snow conditions in the Alps. On the 28th December there were 115 groomed runs open (out of a possible 133); there was 210cms of snow pack at the top and 102cms at resort level. Both the Sarenne and La Fare are open and this is generally the litmus test for skiing conditions. Furthermore our accommodation and our staff are performing at tip top levels. Short breaks & ski weekend - A short ski is better than no ski!

You no longer have to live in the Alps to ‘pop out’ for a quick ski! In fact you can hop on a plane at Gatwick Airport early (very early) in the morning and be skiing around lunch time. We offer 3 or 4 night short breaks starting or finishing on a Sunday, flying from Gatwick into Grenoble which is our local airport and only an hour and a quarter from Vaujany by car/minibus. Our prices include flights with easyJet from Gatwick to Grenoble together with transfers (you’ll be picked up and driven to resort in one of our mini-buses).
Come and be pampered at The Hotel Rissiou where you will find a genial atmosphere in the bar and the restaurant. Just a couple of minutes walk from the lift station it’s perfect for a short ski break or ski weekend.

Please be advised that the breaks and their prices indicated here are guides only – prices may vary as they depend on the availablity of flights, the practicality of the transfer to resort and they assume the use of at least one Ski Peak transfer (generally the flight home on Sunday). We are however, extremely flexible and will do our best to tailor make your skiing holiday but this may result in extra costs.
